Musical Instrument Inventory Vision & Donations
One of my biggest priorities for the BGMS Music Department since I began teaching Music at BGMS in 2016, is to have a complete and fully functional inventory of musical instruments by replacing worn out/irreparable instruments with brand new, quality, and reliable instruments in its pre-existing inventory, depending on our inventory’s priorities or school year’s needs. Musical instruments are extremely expensive and each instrument ranges from $700 - $3,500. I am very sensitive to only purchasing instruments that are a priority for what our program and students need to succeed and reach its potential; and so, I revisit and update this list every year.
Every year, I work with local businesses and outreaches to supply our Music Program with additional funding to purchase new instruments, but we greatly need our community’s support to help students and our BGMS Music Program to reach our extraordinary potential. Below, I have provided a prioritized list of our BGMS Music Department’s instrument needs, in order of priority.
